About The Outreach
Share Joy International’s Akatoono outreach initiative in the Jinja Soweto slums in 2023 was designed to provide essential support and foster a sense of community among vulnerable populations. The initiative aimed to address immediate needs while empowering participants through skills training and community engagement.
Outreach Goals
- Support: Provide essential items to improve the quality of life to 20 families in need.
- Empowerment: Equip women and men with practical skills to enhance their self-reliance.
- Community Building: Foster a supportive community environment where individuals help one another.
