I Love Children Initiative

Objective

The I Love Children Initiative aims to support children by improving their access to education, protecting their rights, and fostering safe environments, ultimately ensuring their holistic development and well-being.

Program Details

-Target Group:
50 children per cycle.
– Duration:
Ongoing support and monitoring, with initial efforts starting in the first quarter of 2025.
– Support Areas:
Educational Access: Ensuring children have the resources and
support to attend and succeed in school.
Rights Protection: Advocating for children’s rights, particularly
against domestic violence and sexual harassment.
Parental Engagement: Strengthening parental responsibilities and involvement.
Orphan Support: Establishing homes for orphaned children at our Share Joy Centers in Central and Northern Uganda.

Impact

-Immediate:
Provide 50 children with the resources and support needed to attend school and live in a safe, nurturing environment.
– Short-Term:
Improve school attendance and performance among the targeted children, while reducing instances of abuse and neglect.
-Long-Term:
Foster a generation of educated and empowered individuals who can break the cycle of poverty and contribute to the development of their communities

Goals

To Support 50 children per cycle with education, rights protection, and parental engagement.
To track improvements in school attendance, academic
performance, and safety reports.
To utilize existing partnerships with schools, NGOs, and community leaders
To focus on vulnerable children, including orphans and those affected by domestic violence.
To Launch and operationalize the initiative by the first quarter of 2025.
